I’m just a guy who likes to ride bikes. A lot. I’m 52 years old (Don’t be fooled by the age) and I’ve been riding mountain bikes for 18 years, but I’ve been loving two-wheeled conveyances since I was five. I love all kinds of trails from fast and flowy to steep and chunky to jumpy and droppy. Even a nice mellow cruise on a bike path or beach front with my wife makes me happy. If I’m on two wheels it’s a good day.
I’ve ridden mostly in the Western USA but have covered a lot of territory and trails including Moab, Tahoe, St. George, Park City, Oregon, Fruita/Grand Junction, Sedona, Tucson, Phoenix, Flagstaff , Sun Valley and British Columbia. But I call Ely, NV home. I’m 5’ 11.5” and weigh 160 lbs. I ride 5-6 days a week year round. I value the ride more than the bike but I’ve ridden and tested a ton of bikes. I’m not that fussed over details but I think I know what makes for a good ride…and a good bike…and good trails. I’m not much of a mechanic but out of necessity I’ve learned a few things about how to keep a bike operating over the years.
My purpose in starting this site is to share what I love and have learned about bikes, trails, and parts with anyone who wants to check in. I promise to give honest and fair reviews of parts, accessories, and bikes that I try out and will attempt to keep you interested and entertained while I do.
